The purpose of this non-profit organization shall be to encourage good horsemanship and sportsmanship; to further the education of the membership in acquisition of skills and the pursuit of knowledge of all things pertaining to hunting and jumping horses; to conduct horse shows for the purpose of raising funds for charitable organization and purposes; to encourage the breeding, use and showing of hunting and jumping horses; to attempt to bring about a better understanding among breeders, owners and exhibitors of such horses and their acceptance of uniform rules governing the showing thereof; and to cooperate with horse shows in the state of Florida in planning better hunter and jumper divisions.
